What Lies Unknown | 30" x 40"

CA$345.00
SOLD

Acrylic and paper on gallery wrapped canvas, 30”x40”x1.5”

Approximately 90% of free floating icebergs lie beneath the surface. When observing from above, the viewer gets a teasing glimpse of the shapes and contours of what sits below. When seen through pristine sea water, ice appears in beautiful shades of blue and teal, and despite being frozen and mostly hidden, can still inspire feelings of movement and mystery. What Lies Unknown, and it’s sister piece, What Lies Beneath are a nod to all that we can’t see from above, all that we have yet to understand.

Frame not included. Painting wraps around all edges. Signed and shipped ready to hang.

Select Free Local Pick Up at checkout to arrange free pickup in the Greater Toronto Area. All other shipping done using UPS Ground with insurance included in the price. For a custom shipping estimate or for shipping outside Canada, please contact artist directly prior to purchasing.

Artist retains all rights to reproduction of work.
